Betty L. Sanders

Betty Louise Sanders, 68, New Salisbury, died Monday, June 29, 2009, at her home.
Born April 15, 1941, in Bowling Green, Ky., she was the daughter of the late William Clarence and Dakota House Hopper.
She was a retired cook at the old Corydon Best Western and a member of Free Gospel Mission in Louisville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Jerry Hopper, and three sisters, Christine Southern, Hazel Matthews and Ann Hill.
Survivors include a son, Ray J. Sanders of New Salisbury; a daughter, Susie Sullivan of New Salisbury; a daughter-in-law who provided her care, Margie Galloway; four brothers, Estill Hopper of Bowling Green, L. C. Hopper of Henryville and Robert and Joe Hopper, both of Milltown; and four grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, July 1, from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 2, after 9 a.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Thursday, July 2, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Woods Chapel Cemetery near Ramsey.
