Flossie Wilson

Flossie Wilson, 88, Salem, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at 11:50 a.m. at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born May 7, 1921, in Tyner, Ky., she was the daughter of the late James Leonard Cook and Maggie Ethel Davis Cook.
She was a former employee of the old ICI Americas in Charlestown and the old B.F. Goodrich plant in Salem, was a member of Mount Gilliatt Baptist Church near Tyner and attended New Liberty Baptist in Salem.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee M. Wilson, Sept. 1, 1999; two brothers; two sisters; and a granddaughter.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna Weir of Mooresville, Wilma Bowling of Salem and Linda Crone of Palmyra; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, June 12, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 13, after 9 a.m. at Dawalt Funeral Home in Salem.
Funeral: Saturday, June 13, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with interment in Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem.
Officiant: Pastor Gene Smith.
