Sue Gray Redden, 66, Marengo, died Saturday, May 30, 2009, at 5:24 p.m. at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
Born June 24, 1942, in Beaver Dam, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Steven Gray and Duma Lindsey Clemons.
She was a homemaker.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Theodore (Pete) Simpson; a child, Petey Simpson; and five siblings, J.C. and Reathel Gray, Jerry and Kenneth Clemons and Lou Smith.
Survivor include her husband of 24 years, Dave Redden; three children, Penny Leffler of Vincennes, Bubba Simpson of Milltown and Charles Simpson of New Albany; nine siblings, Noble Gray of Marengo, David Gray of Louisville, Joey Clemons of Griffith, Anita Bensen of Crestwood, Ky., Zelma Losston of Palmyra, Jean Massey of New Salisbury, Muriel Murphy of Pleasure Ridge Park, Ky., Ruben Clemons of Hammond and Henriette Edwards of Brazil; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, June 3, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, June 4, after 9 a.m. at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo.
Funeral: Thursday, June 4, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Mather’s Chapel Cemetery.
