William Gordon (Bill) Macy, 83, Corydon, died Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Corydon Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born Nov. 19, 1925, in Webster, Ky., he was the son of the late William McKinley and Ava Cashman Macy.
He was formerly employed by L&N Railroad, the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant near Charlestown, Keller Manufacturing Co. Inc. in Corydon and Bark’s Sawmill near Central.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Nola O. Wallace; a son, Harold Boyd Macy; and two brothers, Charles D. and Leonard Ray Macy.
Survivors include a brother, Donald W. Macy, and a sister, Dorothy B. Hull, both of Irvington, Ky.
Visitation: Saturday, April 25, at 1 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday. April 25, at 5 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Heidelberg Cemetery south of Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Tony Stinson.
