MSC basketball awards released

Corydon Central sophomore Brandon Dunaway was recently named to the All-Mid Southern Conference boys’ basketball team.
Joining Dunaway on the All-MSC team are Gunner Erwin (Salem), Robert Baker (Salem), Blaze Ayers (Brownstown), Taylor Wischmeier (Brownstown), Ben Raichel (Austin), Spencer Robinson (Silver Creek), Nick Townsend (Silver Creek), Matt Bridgewater (Scottsburg) and Chad Brady (Charlestown).
Corydon Central junior Garett Ross was named honorable mention along with Dwayne Rice (Austin), Zach Edwards (Austin), Will McCall (Silver Creek) and Todd Albertson (Eastern).
Erwin was selected as the Player of the Year.
In girls’ basketball, three players from North Harrison and two from Corydon Central made the All-MSC team.
North Harrison was represented by seniors Kayla Lambert, Wynn Shroyer and Kacey Cox. Corydon Central was represented by senior Meghan Bussabarger and junior Jenna Keinsley.
Also named All-MSC were Katy McIntosh (Austin), Chelsea Jones (Austin), Amanda Miller (Charlestown), Whitney Tormoelhen (Brownstown Central) and Melody Dalton (Eastern).
The honorable mention list includes Jamie Wehmiller (Brownstown Central), Michelle Goodin (Austin), Molly Voyles (Silver Creek), Chelsea Banks (Salem) and Darion Hutchinson (Scottsburg).
McIntosh was selected as the Player of the Year.
