Ronald E. Albin

Ronald Edward Albin, 68, Corydon, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at University Hospital in Louisville.
Born March 17, 1940, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Loren and Mary Dowdle Albin.
He was retired from Jacobi Sales in Palmyra after 40 years of service, served as a director on the Harrison County REMC board and was a member of Unity Chapel United Methodist Church near Ramsey.
Survivors include his wife, the former Judy E. Shields; a daughter, Kelley Churchill of Depauw; a brother, Don Albin of Corydon; three sisters, Marlene McCoy of New Middletown and Thelma Albin and Janet Flickner, both of Corydon; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral: Sunday, Feb. 22, at 3 p.m. at Unity Chapel United Methodist Church with burial in Woods Chapel Cemetery in Ramsey.
Officiant: The Rev. Jeff Reed.
Vocalist: Larry Johnson.
Organist: Mary Lynn Atherton.
Pallbearers: Wayne Batman, Earl Survant, Stanley Stevens, Ned Rieth, Harry Ketterman, Bob Raisor and Sam Swango.
Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey handled arrangements.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Unity Chapel United Methodist Church Choir Fund, 1760 Lost Creek Road NW, Ramsey, IN 47166.
