Maj. Lawrence E. Hopp

Maj. Lawrence Edward Hopp, 86, Greenville, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
Born Jan. 2, 1923, in Rochester, Mich., he was the son of the late Albert and Viola Demming Hopp.
He was a retired Air Force veteran who served during World War II and the Korea and Vietnam eras.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Hopp of Greenville and Lawrence Edward Hopp Jr. of Trenton, Mich.; a daughter, Marilynn Muth of Hanover, Ontario, Canada; a brother, Richard Albert Hopp of Venice, Fla.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Saturday, Feb. 28, from noon to 1 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Memorial service: Saturday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home followed by private burial.
Officiant: The Rev. Scott Minix.
