Deborah G. Napper, 55, Clarksville, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.
Born Aug. 25, 1953, in Fort Knox, Ky., she was founder of Deb Charities, which funds children with cancer, and a member of Northside Christian Church in New Albany.
Survivors include a son, Jonathan Eric Holman of Spring Hill, Tenn.; four daughters, Jenny Carr of Southampton, Pa., Kristen (Faith) Atkins of Columbia, Tenn., Roma Joy Steele of Woodstock, Ga., and Brittany Cheree Napper of Georgetown, Ky.; her mother, Virginia Davis of Corydon; a brother, Perry Haeberlein of Sellersburg; a sister, Roma Helms of Ramsey; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral: Friday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove United Methodist Church near Corydon with burial in the church cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Betty Ann Garrett.
Pallbearers: Tom Denton, Elvin Barksdale, Don Carr, Roger Berry, Greg Byerley and Eric Holman. Arrangements: Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
The family suggests memorial gifts to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in care of the funeral home.
