Franziska Kranzbuhler

Franziska (Oma) Kranzbuhler, 96, Eckerty, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, at 7 a.m. at her home.
Born May 8, 1912, in Mannheim, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Knon and Maria Meier Knon.
She was retired from John Deere Co. of Germany and attended Mifflin Community Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adolf Kranzbuhler, in 1990; a daughter, Inge Redden Price; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Karl and Erwin Kranzbuhler, both of Germany; a brother, Karl Knon of Germany; a sister, Anna Weber of Germany; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation: Friday, Jan. 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McAdams Mortuary in Paoli.
Funeral: Friday, Jan. 30, at 1 p.m. at the mortuary followed by burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in English.
