Earl R. Hendrich

Earl R. Hendrich, 84, Palmyra, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at 10:10 p.m. at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
A native of Central Barren, he was the son of the late Loren and Clara Bigler Hendrich.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a longtime employee of the old Wenning Meat Packing plant in Central Barren, and a member of the Milltown American Legion and Central Barren United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, the former Edith Herd; a son, Stanley A. Hendrich of Greenville; a granddaughter; and a great-grandson.
Visitation: Friday, Jan. 23, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 24, after 8 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral: Saturday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Central Barren Cemetery.
