Arthur F. Grant

Arthur F. (Buck) Grant, 86, Marengo, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at 10 a.m. at his home.
Born July 15, 1922, in Marengo, he was the son of the late Omer Grant and Elizabeth Stroud.
He was a retired cabinet maker for Old National Homes in New Albany, an Army Veteran of World War II who served as an ambulance driver in the European Theater, a member of Marengo Methodist Church and a past Master of the Marengo Masonic Lodge 475.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, the former Virginia Williams; two children, David Grant of Indianapolis and Cathy Gentry of Milltown; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, Jan. 19, from 4 to 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 20, after 9 a.m. at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo.
Funeral: Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Union Chapel Cemetery in Milltown.
Officiant: The Rev. Deb Reichenbach.
