Wilma L. Ott

Wilma L. Ott, 80, Lanesville, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at her home.
Born Aug. 28, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Pearl Kiesler.
She was a homemaker, a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville, and a former employee of the New Albany-Floyd County Consolidated School Corp. food service staff at Floyd Central High School and Huber & Huber Transfer Co. of Louisville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Carl F. Ott, and a brother, Glen H. Kiesler.
Survivors include five sons, Larry and Fred Ott, both of Georgetown, John Ott of Shelbyville, Ky., Kenny Ott of Corydon and Tony Ott of Lanesville; a daughter, Carol Fulkerson of Lanesville; three brothers, Paul, Marvin and Dale Kiesler; three sisters, Frances Eveslage, Jean Dethy and Martha Cox; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, Jan. 8, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Friday, Jan. 9, after 9 a.m. at Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany.
Vigil service: Thursday, Jan. 8, at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass: Friday, Jan. 9, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville followed by burial in the church cemetery.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Hosparus of Southern Indiana, the Alzheimer’s Association or her church.
