Sandra Cooke McCampbell, 68, Palmyra, died Sunday evening, Jan. 4, 2009, at her home.
Born Oct. 23, 1940, in New Albany, she was the daughter of the late Ola and Edward Cooke.
She retired from the East Washington Community School Corp. and was a member of Palmyra United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael A. McCampbell; three brothers, Colin (Gene), Donald and Clark (Corky) Cooke; and a sister, Joyce Barnes.
Survivors include two sons, James E. McCampbell of Elizabeth and Christopher McCampbell of Redondo Beach, Calif.; three sisters, Colleen Day of New Albany, Katherine Maxey of Palmyra and Vickie Jensen of Georgetown; and a grandson.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 7, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 8, after 9 a.m. at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes in New Albany.
Funeral: Thursday, Jan. 8, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment in Galena Cemetery.
