Wanda W. Reinhardt

Wanda W. Reinhardt, 94, Lanesville, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at Harrison Health & Rehabilitation Centre in Corydon.
The daughter of the late Shelby and Maggie Hottel Walts, she was a homemaker, a cook at Lanesville Community schools, an office manager for the late Dr. Sam Martin of Corydon, a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville and was active in Bible Study and LWML.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Reinhardt; a grandson, Doug Reinhardt; eight sisters, Mary Sherrill, Dollie Murphy, Mildred Massey, Helen Murphy, Alice Faye Key, Rella Walden, Rada Walts and Dorothy Martin; and six brothers, Wayne, Charles, Harold, Glenn, Earl Richard and Roy Shelby.
Survivors include by two sons, Jerry Reinhardt of Lanesville and Charles Reinhardt of Jeffersonville; a brother, Donald Walts of Georgetown; three sisters, Martha Mayes of Las Vegas, Gladys Hughes of Couer d’Alene, Idaho, and Patty Lind of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Lanesville; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 7, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 8, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral: Thursday, Jan. 8, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown.
Officiants: Pastors Richard Heinz and Christopher Truelsen.
Pallbearers: Tim Bridges, Kenny Higginbotham, Marc Kelly, Steve Saam, and Greg and Richard Walts.
The family suggests memorial gifts to her church.
