Thomas Sanford
Thomas Sanford, 85, Salem, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, at 5 a.m. at his home.
A native of Eminence, Ky., he was a truck driver, a farmer, a World War II veteran and a member of Westview Christian Church of Campbellsburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Sanford; an infant son, Tommy Dale; a brother, William Sanford; and two sisters, Judy Flynn and Lucille Cole.
Survivors include two sons, Harry Sanford and Donnie Haub; two daughters, Sandy Knapp and Betti Fuller; a sister, Kay Meisenhelder; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Sunday, Dec. 7, at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra with burial in Mount Carmel Cemetery near Fredericksburg.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Mount Carmel Cemetery Fund or the American Cancer Society.
