Lelah E. Kimmel

Lelah Elizabeth Kimmel, 93, Lexington, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at her home.
Born Oct. 3, 1915, in French Lick, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Martha Vance Condra.
She was a member of Georgetown Christian Church, Saluda Homemakers Club in Jefferson County and the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 387 in English.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Kimmel; two sisters, Georgia Ferree and Ruby Condra; and a brother, Harley Edward Condra.
Survivors include two daughters, Karlene Whitaker of Taswell and Nancy Lock of Hawthorne, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, Dec. 1, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Dec. 2, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Pallbearers: Tony and Linc Whitaker, Larry Shoemaker, Tom Lock, Charles Ferree and Terry Whitaker.
