Lucinda (Nanny) Livers, 73, English, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at 8:03 p.m. at her home.
Born in Springfield, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Arvy and Lorentha Darnell Sneed.
She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church in New Salisbury.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Livers; a brother, James Snead; four sisters, Dorothy Bolen, Annie Sneed, Edna Lincoln and Sue Sneed; and a grandchild, Lillian Crecelius.
Survivors include four daughters, Kathy Giackino of Hurley, Wis., and Cindy Crecelius, Rita Reynolds and Tammy Sease, all of English; two stepsons, Milton Livers of Bowersville, Ohio, and Joseph Livers of Kentucky; a stepdaughter, Diane Livers of New Albany; four sisters, Martha Lynch of Corydon, Shirley Boswell and Virginia Leitner, both of Radcliff, Ky., and Patricia East of New Albany; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 1 to 8 p.m. at Denbo Funeral Home in English.
Funeral: Thursday, Nov. 13, at noon at the funeral home followed by burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
