Paul R. Magill
Paul R. Magill, 83, Washington, formerly of Hardinsburg, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at 10 a.m. at his daughter’s home in Washington.
Born Oct. 26, 1925, in Valeene, he was the son of the late Russell Magill and Rosa Manship Magill.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, was retired from Independent Aggregate Corp. in Inglis, Fla., attended Trinity Gospel Tabernacle in Washington and was a member of Greenbriar Holiness Church in Paoli.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Lucille Thompson, on April 2, 2000; a sister, Ruby Radcliffe; and a brother, Theodore Magill.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Bobbitt of Washington and Patsy Roberts of Paoli; a son, Ronald Magill of Corydon; two sisters, Pauline Williams of French Lick and Ruth Edwards of Jeffersonville; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, Nov. 1, at McAdams Mortuary in Paoli with burial in Hardinsburg Cemetery.
