Alice R. Cauble

Alice R. Cauble, 80, New Albany, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Laconia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Behr.
She was retired from the cafeteria department of the New Albany-Floyd County School Corp. after 25 years and formerly attended Silver Street United Methodist Church in New Albany.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leland M. Cauble; a twin brother, Allen Behr; and two sisters, Hazel Liebert and Norma Phillips.
Survivors include two daughters, Darla K. Chezem of Georgetown and Debbie S. Meneou of New Albany; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 1 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 6, after 9 a.m. at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes in New Albany.
Funeral: Thursday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
