Wilma L. Miller
Wilma L. Miller, 95, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at her home south of Indianapolis.
Born March 14, 1913, at Lanesville, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Eldora B. Evans Simler.
She was baptized at Lanesville United Methodist Church, taught Sunday school and youth groups most of her life, was a graduate of Lanesville High School and a 1932 graduate of Indiana Central College and taught elementary school at Lanesville from 1932 to 1936 and at Georgetown from 1936 to 1957.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Kenneth C., James E. and Harlan E. Simler and Florence S. Simler Ehalt; her first husband of 15 years, Sheldon V. Roy, on Feb. 29, 1952; and her second husband, James Kenneth Miller, in August 1997.
Survivors include four stepdaughters, Linda Miller Brooks, Barbara Miller Crone, Catherine Miller and Rose Mary Miller Sublette.
Funeral: Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial in Sellersburg Cemetery.
