Beatrice Blunk

Beatrice (Peach) Blunk, 85, New Albany, died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008.
Born Dec. 14, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Ida Lewis.
She was a homemaker.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bud, Ben and Joe Lewis; a sister, Flora Mae Freeman; and her husband, Arthur (Ray) Blunk.
Survivors include two daughters, Jo Ann Frakes of Floyds Knobs and Juanita Lamb of New Albany; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 3 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 30, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes in New Albany.
Funeral: Thursday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by entombment in SCI-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Harrison County Relay for Life or Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
