Conference meets prep for sectional

Conference bragging rights were up for grabs in cross country last week. South Central’s Rachel Pease picked up serious hardware in the girls’ Southern Athletic Conference race, taking first place overall.
The cross country teams are prepping for the upcoming post-season events. The sectional meet was held yesterday (Tuesday) at Crawford County. The 11 team sectional features Corydon Central, Crawford County, Lanesville, North Harrison and South Central. The top 15 individuals and top five teams advance to regionals. Regionals will be held Saturday, also at Crawford County, starting at 10:30 a.m. The regional will feature advancers from Crawford County and Jasper.
