Lois G. Norman

Lois G. VanHoosier Norman, 89, Eckerty, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, at 9 a.m. at Jasper Memorial Hospital.
Born March 11, 1919, in Perry County, she was the daughter of the late Phillip VanHoosier and Glessia Allen.
She worked for Ken Rad and General Electric in Tell City, Swifts in Huntingburg, Schmidt’s in English and Jasper Rubber Factory, and was a member of the Pentecostal faith.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn V. Norman, in 2004, several brothers and sisters, and three great-grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Glenda Laswell of English; a sister, Genola Snyder of Tell City; two grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; and three great-great-granddaughters.
Funeral: Monday, Oct. 13, at Denbo Funeral Home in English with burial in Birdseye Cemetery.
Officiants: Alfred Helms and Kenneth Wright.
