Robert L. Johnson

Robert L. Johnson, 70, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.
He was the retired owner of Proudbird Aircraft Interiors, a veteran of the Army Reserves, a pilot, was with Quiet Birdmen, was an admiral of the Cherry River Navy of West Virginia, a Kentucky Colonel, a Kentucky Commodore, a booster with the Flying Fezzes, an admiral of the fleet of Pleasure Boats and an honorary captain of the Belle of Louisville.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Johnson of Sellersburg; a daughter, Kathy Norton of Corydon; a brother, James Johnson of Lewisville, N.C.; and three grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday, Oct. 11.
Arrangements: Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Clark County Humane Society.
