Phyllis (Jeanette) Skinner, 74, Palmyra, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Oct. 2, 1934, in Loyall, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Ruth Virginia Jones Wilder.
She was a member of Charity Baptist Church near New Salisbury and a Sunday school teacher for more than 45 years.
Survivors include her husband, George A. Skinner; a son, the Rev. Mark A. Skinner of Lakeland, Fla.; a daughter, Denise D. Dykes of Corydon; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, Oct. 9, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 10, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, Oct. 10, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Palmyra Cemetery.
