Evelyn Dobson

Evelyn Goldman Dobson, 89, Clarksville, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.
A native of Henryville, she was the former owner of Clarksville Cab Co. and a member of Peniel Revival Center in Louisville.
Survivors include four sons, Michael Goldman of Georgetown, Roger Goldman of Bloomington, Allen Goldman of Jeffersonville and Kent Goldman of Clarksville; five daughters, Sue Ann Dubois of Milltown, Barbara Hall of New Albany, Patricia Sekanic and Jonnie Miller, both of Clarksville, and Gloria Bennethum of Denver; a stepson, Andy (Butch) Dobson of Louisville; a stepdaughter, Bobbie Jo Dobson of New Albany; a sister, Marie Stewart of Charlestown; 26 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Oct. 8, after 9 a.m. at Chapman Funeral Home in New Albany.
Funeral: Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
