Charles W. Stepro Jr., 80, Corydon, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at his home.
Born Sept. 11, 1928, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Charles Walter and Elsie Gutkese Stepro.
He was an auto parts manager and mechanic at Gerdon Auto Sales and Corydon Auto Parts.
Survivors include his wife, the former Lillie Mann; a son, Dr. Dennis C. Stepro of Manchester, N.H.; a daughter, Pamela J. Emerson of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a brother, James W. Stepro of Corydon; three sisters, Monnie Flickner and Carolyn Rhoads, both of Corydon, and Barbara Owen of Cody, Wyo.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, Oct. 9, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 10, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, Oct. 10, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiants: The Revs. Dennis Brinkworth, Jeff Smithson and Danny Emerson. Pallbearers: Joe Mattingly, David Holland, David Hammontree, Bill Gerdon, Jim Feller and Frank Baker.
