Margery H. Wagner

Margery Henrietta Wagner, 89, Pikeville, Tenn., formerly of Greenville, Ky., died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008, at Erlanger Bledsoe County Nursing Home.
Born Dec. 5, 1918, in New Middletown, she was the daughter of the late George and Corrine Weis.
She was a graduate of the old New Middletown High School, was a former employee in a munitions factory, taught kindergarten for a number of years in Greenville, Ky., and was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Pikeville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Wagner Sr., in January 2000.
Survivors include two sons, Charles D. Wagner Jr. of Pikeville and Robert E. Wagner of Dunnellon, Fla.; four sisters, Georgia Blank, Tillie Monroe and Verma Gunther, all of Corydon, and Audrey Albin of Louisville; a brother, Kenneth Weis of New Middletown; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Visitation: Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 5 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 25, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Thursday, Sept. 25, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Bethlehem Cemetery in Crandall.
Putnam-Reed Funeral Home in Pikeville also handled arrangements.
