Donald R. McGill
Donald R. McGill, 72, Corydon, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, at Golden Guardians Home in Corydon.
Born Feb. 5, 1936, in Brandenburg, he was a retired block operator for the Norfolk-Southern Railroad in Louisville and a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witness.
Survivors include his wife, Betty McGill; two sons, Steve McGill of Palmyra and Mark McGill of Jeffersonville; three daughters, Susan Adams of Milton, Ky., Melissa Blount of Corydon and Rebecca Herbert of Georgetown; three brothers, John McGill of Lanesville, Sam McGill of Jeffersonville and Joseph McGill of New Albany; a sister, Rosemary Scantland of Clarksville; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, Sept. 19, from 1 to 8 p.m. Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Memorial service: private.
