Dorothy L. Heilig-Booth
Dorothy (Dot) Louise Heilig-Booth, 78, Corydon, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
Born Nov. 19, 1929, in Corydon, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Cora Patterson Shireman.
She was a former employee of Jock’s Lunch Counter and Berlin’s Dept. Store, both in Corydon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 20 years, Charles (Bud) Heilig Jr.; a brother, Stoy (Bud) Shireman; and two sisters, Alline Bottorf and Clara Mossler.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Charles Vincent Booth; a daughter, Brenda Stauth of Corydon; a sister, Bonnie Windell of Corydon; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Sept. 2, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 3, after 10 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesay, Sept. 3, at 2 p.m. at the funeral homed will be today after 10 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
The funeral: Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: Pastor Douglas Finney.
Pallbearers: Barry, Todd and Gregory Stauth, David Shireman, Keith Bottorf and Roger Windell.
Honorary pallbearers: Eric Stroud, Tyler and Emily Stauth and Andrew Hyatt.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center or St. Joseph Catholic Church’s building fund.
