John Michael McManus, 53, Hoquiam, Wash., formerly of Marshall, Texas, Corydon, Drain, Ore., and Los Angeles, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, at his home.
Born May 30, 1955, in Boston, he worked as a minister from 1987 to 1994, a car salesman at Five Star from 2005 to 2007 and as a real estate agent at Premier Reality from 2007 until he became ill in June 2008. He was a member of the Body of Christ, and attended home meetings of Wishkah Valley Community Church & New Beginnings.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, the former Karen Kaestner; a son, Jonathan at home; a daughter, Amy McManus of Seal Beach, Calif.; his father, John A. McManus of Arkansas; his mother, T.R. Johnson Cusic of Aberdeen, Wash.; four brothers, Tim of Washington, Dan of California, Dave of Ocean Shores, Wash., and Eric of Seattle, Wash.; and two sisters, Sharon of Ocean Shores, and Holly of Denver.
Memorial service: Saturday, Aug. 23, at Whishkah Valley Community Church.
