Dorothy K. Boris

Dorothy K. (Dottie) Boris, 81, Laconia, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born July 13, 1927, in French Lick, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Goldie Smith.
She was a member of Laconia United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Billy Boris Jr. and Donald Jude Boris; a daughter, Theresa Marie Logsdon; and two sisters, Bernice Wyman and Evy Helen Smith.
Survivors include her husband, William (Billy) Boris; three sons, James Michael Boris of Louisville, George Franklin (Frankie) Boris of Corydon and Raymond Victor (Ray) Boris of Laconia; three daughters, Dorothy Frances Kellams and Mary Elizabeth Decker, both of Laconia, and Pamela Joy Logsdon of Georgetown; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
Visitation: Wednesday, Aug. 27, from 5 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 28, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, Aug. 29, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Friday, Aug. 29, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Memorial Cemetery near Laconia.
Officiants: Pastor Doris Stevenson and the Rev. Gary Decker.
Pallbearers: David, Chris, Matt, Brent and Jaren Decker and Jeff Cazel.
