Donald W. Dean

Donald W. Dean, 85, Jeffersonville, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at Riverbend Assisted Living Cottage in Jeffersonville.
A native of Harrison County, he was a retired jeweler and an Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Helen Loeffler.
Survivors include five sons, Robin, Terry, Alan, Timmy and Ricky Dean; a stepdaughter, Frances Basham; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Aug. 19, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Market Street Chapel of Seabrook-Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes in New Albany.
Funeral: Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in New Albany.
