Ida Hoke, 94, New Albany, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Harrison County, she was a homemaker and a member of First Church of God in New Albany.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Hoke; five sisters; two brothers; and a grandchild, Cindy Vetter.
Survivors include two sons, Calvin Hoke of Jeffersonville and Clifford Hoke of New Albany; two daughters, Judy Hoke of New Albany and Joyce Vetter of Anderson; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, July 31, from noon to 8 p.m. at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes in New Albany.
Funeral: Friday, Aug. 1, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial gifts to First Church of God or the Floyd County Humane Society.
