John W. Miskuf

John W. Miskuf, 63, Bedford, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at 2:25 p.m. at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.
Born Jan. 5, 1945, in Lake County, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Palvelko Miskuf.
He was a graduate of Andrean High School in Merrillville, earned a bachelor’s degree in zoology with a minor in chemistry, as well as his DDS degree from Indiana University, received a rotating dental internship with the Army at Womack Army Hospital at Fort Bragg, N.C., was a post dental surgeon at Sierra Army Facility Hospital in Herlong, Calif., was a dentist in Bedford for 34 years, and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the International Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Indiana Academy of General Dentistry.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Miskuf.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, the former Sheila Kay Ludlow, formerly of Boone Township in Harrison County; three sons, Michael Miskuf of Bedford and Jason and David Miskuf, both of Fishers; and three grandsons.
Funeral: Monday, July 28, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with burial in Green Hill Cemetery, both in Bedford.
Military graveside rites: Members of American Legion Gillen Post 33.
Arrangements: Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home in Bedford.
