Anna F. Parke

Anna Faye Mock Parke, 85, Taswell, died Friday, July 18, 2008, at 11:34 a.m. at Jasper Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 11, 1923, in Crawford County, she was the daughter of the late David Emanuel Mock and Ivy Pearl Walls.
She was an insurance agent for 25 years, was retired from Aristokraft in Jasper, was a member of Taswell Christian Church, was involved in the Crawford County Democratic Woman’s Club, serving previously as president, was a 4-H club leader and was active with Lincoln Hills.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Daniel Parke, in 1995; two brothers, David and Woodrow Mock; and two sisters, Bettie Marie Dillman and Lois Hood.
Survivors include five children, William W. and Russell C. Parke and Mary (Fran) Wheeler, all of Taswell, Randall W. Parke of Santa Claus and Clifford E. Parke of Milltown; four sisters, Lola Brown of Fountain City, Mary Helen Lytle and Alberta Montgomery, both of Taswell, and Betty Lou Collins of Orleans; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, July 21, at Denbo Funeral Home in English with burial in Taswell Cemetery.
