Dorothy L. Toney

Dorothy Lee Sauerheber Toney, 91, Palmyra, died Thursday, June 12, 2008, at 9:15 p.m. at her home.
Born Sept. 2, 1916, in Leavenworth, she was the daughter of the late Emile Sauerheber and Lillian Conrad.
She was a graduate of Leavenworth High School, was a homemaker, attended Leavenworth Presbyterian Church and was a member of the homemakers club, Eastern Star and senior citizens groups.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Toney, and a sister, Virginia Breeden.
Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Hanover of Floyds Knobs; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Sunday, June 15, at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo with burial in Mather’s Chapel Cemetery.
Officiants: The Rev. Randy Coleman and Jeff Crouch.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Hospice or her church.
