Emilia A. Combs

Emilia A. (Mimi) Combs, 80, Lanesville, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at her home.
Born Aug. 6, 1927, in Sopris, Colo., she was the daughter of the late Ricardo and Rita Coszalter of Italy.
She was a secretary for P.O. Ackley in Trinidad, Colo. and attended Mount St. Francis, where she was a picnic worker in the flea market and a volunteer cookie maker.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley A. Combs Jr., and three brothers, Sentino, Pete and Guido Coszalter.
Survivors include two sons, Bret Combs of Wyoming and Mark Combs of New Albany; a daughter, Melissa Combs of Lanesville; two sisters, Virginia Boday of Tucson, Ariz., and Margaret Verquer of Trinidad; and two grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, June 4, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. followed by a memorial service at Kraft Funeral Home Chapel in New Albany.
The family suggests memorial gifts to The Home of the Innocents.
