Effie Ellen Engleman Crecelius, 74, Noblesville, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville.
Born Jan. 24, 1934, in Corydon, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ruth Pepper Engleman.
She was a homemaker, had assisted her husband with his auto repair business and was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church west of Corydon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Sue Bishop, and a brother, Wayne Engleman.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Crecelius; three sons, Kevin, Boyd and Strause Crecelius, all of Noblesville; a daughter, Colleen Lakin of Spring Hill, Fla.; two brothers, Jim and John Engleman, both of Corydon; three sisters, Betty Rogers of Fort Leavenworth, Kan., Alma Williams of Irvington, Ky., and Nyla Smith of Corydon; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, June 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville.
Funeral: Thursday, June 5, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Crownland Cemetery.
