Henry C. Koerner

Henry C. Koerner, 67, Lanesville, died Saturday afternoon, April 19, 2008, at his home.
Born Aug. 9, 1940, in Scottsburg, he was the son of the late Thomas and Bessie Kathleen Terrell Koerner.
He was a graduate of Indiana University Southeast Purdue Technology Programs, where he earned a degree in mechanical engineering, was a retired engineer for Pillsbury Co., was a former Boy Scout leader, was serving as the Indiana State Director of the Family Campers and RV’ers and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and David Koerner.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, the former Phyllis Ann Tripure; three daughters, Pamela Ward, Michele Ferree and Beth Royalty, all of Lanesville; a sister, Margaret Martin of Floyds Knobs; and six grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, April 21, from noon to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, April 22, after 9 a.m. at Generations Funeral Home in New Albany.
Funeral: Tuesday, April 22, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Lanesville Protestant Cemetery.
