Former Harrison Township Trustee Roger A. Crosier died Saturday, April 5, 2008, at Norton Pavilion in Louisville. He was 70.
Crosier served eight years as the township trustee.
Born May 5, 1937, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Arland F. (Tory) and Mildred A. Yeager Crosier.
He was the owner of Home Medical Equipment and the old Town and Country Men’s Clothing Store, both in Corydon. He was an Air Force veteran, attended the University of Kentucky and Indiana Central College, and was a member of Lincoln Hills Christian Church in Corydon, the Chamber of Commerce of Harrison County and several other civic organizations.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Logan Gregory Hall.
Survivors include his wife, the former Barbara A. Miller; four sons, Nathan A. Crosier of Charlestown, Ronnie L. Longacre of New Salisbury, Gregory S. Hall of Corydon and Robert (Jeff) Hall of Sellersburg; a brother, Richard L. Crosier of Corydon; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, April 8, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon and Wednesday, April 9, after 11 a.m. at Lincoln Hills Christian Church in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, April 9, at 2 p.m. at the church followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Webster Oglesby.
Pallbearers: Gardner Turner, Bill Radmacher, Bob and Danny Boone, Vaughn and Terry Timberlake, Kent Yeager, Charlie McMonigle and Tim Conway.
Honorary pallbearers: James A. and James E. Davis, Larry Boaz, Brad Pyle, Jim Hauswald and Harry Kitterman.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Expand His Vision at Lincoln Hills Christian Church.
