Clemence Kochert

Clemence (Clem) Kochert, 83, Sellersburg, died Tuesday evening, March 25, 2008, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Lanesville, he was the son of the late Peter and Anna Wiesenberg Kochert.
He was a machinist for more than 32 years at International Harvester in Louisville, an Army veteran and a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sellersburg.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, the former Jean E. Seipp; two daughters, Barbara Sue Smith of Corydon and Linda C. Davis of Louisville; a son, Kenneth J. Kochert of Sellersburg; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, March 29, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sellersburg with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Arrangements: Generations Funeral Home in New Albany.
