Cecil H. Rhodes

Cecil H. Rhodes, 78, New Albany, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Harrison County, he was the retired owner and operator of Rhodes Sinclair/Texaco service stations, a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, the former Delores D. Doades; two sons, Don W. Rhodes of New Albany and David A. Rhodes of Elizabeth; a brother, Charles Rhodes of Corydon; three sisters, Evelyn Brandenburg and Kathleen Hunter, both of Corydon, and Lois Finn of Clarksville; and three grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, March 14, from 2 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, March 15, after 9 a.m. at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes.
Funeral: Saturday, March 15, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with interment in SCI Graceland Memorial Park.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Hosparus of Southern Indiana or Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
