Ezra I. Duley
Ezra I. Duley, 87, Xenia, Ohio, died Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Greene Memorial Hospital.
Born July 9, 1920, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Ivan W. and Rose Gilmore Duley.
He was an Army veteran who served in World War II, retired as an electronic technician from WPAFB in 1962 and volunteered at the information desk of Greene Memorial Hospital for 19 years.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Naomi Elder Malott, on Oct. 13, 2000; a grandson, Brian Duley; five sisters; and a brother.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda M. Malott of Xenia; two sons, William D. and Kenton Duley, both of Xenia; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, March 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Neeld Funeral Home in Zenia.
Funeral: Wednesday, March 5, at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Woodland Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Brian Maguire.
