Robert V. Rothrock Jr.

Robert V. Rothrock Jr., 88, Corydon, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
Born Jan. 28, 1920, in Harrison County, he was the son of the late Robert Victor and Rhea Pate Rothrock.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, a 30-year retired Standard Oil agent in Corydon, past president of the Corydon Town Board, and a member of F&AM Pisgah Lodge 32 in Corydon, VFW Old Capitol Post 2950 in Corydon.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Norma J. Hinch; a brother, Frank P. Rothrock; and a sister, Rosa Hutsell.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Victor Rothrock III and John Thomas Rothrock, both of Noblesville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Sunday, Feb. 24, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Blue River Chapel Cemetery west of Corydon.
Pallbearers: Amy, Robbie and Adam Rothrock, and Stacy and Mike Ambler.
Honorary pallbearer: Kermit Rothrock.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Harrison County Hospital Foundation.
