Oma Helen Breeden, 82, Mauckport, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at Todd-Dickey Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Leavenworth.
Born April 13, 1925, in Harrison County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Elsie O. Froman Breeden.
She was a graduate of the old New Amsterdam High School, a former drill press operator in the machine shop at the Indiana Division Republic Aviation Corp. in Evansville and a former employee of the old bag plant in New Albany.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Weldon and Clifford Breeden, and three sisters, Vera and Louise Breeden and Elva Cline.
Survivors include a brother, Max Breeden of Corydon, and three sisters, Fern Gehlbach of Lanesville, Christine Deich of New Albany and Waneka Mackison of Rockville, Md.
Visitation: Monday, Feb. 18, from noon to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 19, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in New Amsterdam Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Betty Sieberns.
Pallbearers: Larry and Diana Breeden, Mark and James Deich, Virgil and John Gehlbach, Steve Mackison, and Howard, Kenny and Troy Fisher.
