Earl Cruse, 77, Pekin, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008, at 11:10 p.m. at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born in Upton, Ky., he was retired from St. Matthews Manor in Louisville, a veteran of the Korean War and a member of Greenville New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Peggy Rollins; three sons, Mike and Kenny Cruse and Troy Gavin; two daughters, Julia Souder and Debbie Samons; two sisters, Joyce Sorrels and Rita Neal, both of Floyds Knobs; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 20, after 10 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral: Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial in Greenville Cemetery.
