Josephine Lana Sauerheber, 86, Corydon, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born Sept. 12, 1921, in New Albany, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anita Kron Hall.
She was a former telephone operator and a member of Corydon Presbyterian Church and Central Homemakers Club.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orrell Hugh Sauerheber, and two brothers, Bill and Kenneth Hall.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth H. Sauerheber of Bedford and Glenn H. Sauerheber of Central; a sister, Jessie Lee Jacobi of Richmond, Va.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, Feb. 15, from 5 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 17, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Sunday, Feb. 17, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Blue River Chapel Cemetery west of Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Scott D. Hill. Pallbearers: Tony Awishes, Chris and Bill Morgan, Luke Coffman, and Jeff and Scott Hall.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Blue River Chapel Cemetery.
