Harriett Sue Fisher Duncan, 61, Arcadia, Fla., formerly of Bedford, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, at her home.
Born Aug. 29, 1946, in Corydon, she was the daughter of Clifford and Mildred Fisher of Corydon.
She was a graduate of Corydon Central High School, and pursued a career in cosmetology that spanned 30-plus years and included the operation of her own salon and teaching with the House of James and P J’s Colleges of Cosmetology. She was a member of New Hope Christian Church of Arcadia.
Survivors besides her parents include her husband of 35 years, Farrell Dean Duncan; two children, Daiquiri Duncan of Arcadia and Desiree Taves of Alexander, N.D.; two stepchildren, Randy Duncan of Bedford and Michael Duncan of Bloomington; a sister, Judy Miller of New Albany; two brothers, Max Fisher of Lexington, Ky., and Harlan Fisher of Corydon; seven grandchildren.
A private service will be held. Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Arcadia are handling arrangements.
