Harley W. Wiseman, 88, Corydon, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born March 3, 1919, in Corydon, he was the son of the late Lee Otto and Elsie Mauck Wiseman.
He was a retired manager of Ford Motor Co. in Detroit and a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon. He had also mapped and organized Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, the former Natalia Lopez; a son, Harley J. Wiseman of Corydon; a daughter, Linda Sue Cearbaugh of Raleigh, N.C.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation: Monday, Feb. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 5, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, and Wednesday, Feb. 6, after 10 a.m. at Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon.
Funeral: Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 1 p.m. at the church followed by burial in Fairview Cemetery near Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Douglas Finney.
Pallbearers: Carl and Merrill Wiseman, Marcus and Elvin Barksdale, Clayton and Doug Sieg and Ronnie McGill.
Honorary pallbearers: Billy Mauck and Steven Hardsaw.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Fairview Cemetery Foundation.
